Why re there 3 different squadrons of a4 Skyhawks… it would be normal for a carrier, but they all belong specifically to different carriers

DCS needs Vietnam war assets and a map badly now. More servers as well, easy rental off the website. Dynamic campaign. We need populated and dedicated servers. Cold War, Vietnam, WW2, etc. so many cool modules just need more places to use them. Great video. I’m dying for all out Nam severs.
Did you do the Paradise Lost campaign? Yeah I know it's filthy Huey campaign, but it has that serious Vietnam vibe.

Love the vid and respect the effort undertaken. My only nitpick is the inclusion of a KC-10 Extender tanker.
Question. Why are the ground crew uniformed like modern day Aircraft Carrier flight deck crew? Crainials, color coded flight deck jerseys, etc. Nam was HOT! There was a reason crews were in a t-shirt and trousers on the flight line. Just my 2 cents anyways.
Answer. DCS is focused on the 90s/2000s and WW2 as its two primary time periods, naturally with a bias towards environments with lots of sand and some water to park a carrier in. There are no Vietnam War assets except for the F-4E if you give it the appropriate weapons for the time period. I think even the available MiG-21 is too new for 'Nam.

No clue why ED hasn't made a Vietnam map that would be the highest selling map to date. Once red star comes out with the MiG 17 you will have all the red air.
